Skip to contentA legacy gift to the 100 Club of Arizona allows you to carry forward your commitment to the men and women who protect our communities, without affecting your current financial security.
A legacy gift is a contribution of cash, stock or personal property arranged with the help of a professional (attorney, estate planner, CPA, financial planner or insurance broker). These gifts can be an important part of your estate plan and may provide meaningful tax advantages.
A bequest is one of the easiest and most flexible ways to make a lasting gift. You can designate:
Adding a charitable bequest can be done by updating or amending your existing documents.
“I give and bequeath to the 100 Club of Arizona, an Arizona not-for-profit corporation, the sum of $____________ {or all the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate} to be used for the general purposes of the organization, in the discretion of its Board of Directors.”
“I chose to donate a portion of my required minimum distribution (RMD) to the 100 Club of Arizona because I am concerned about the safety of police officers and firefighters who serve our community,”
“I have decided to leave the 100 Club of Arizona as the beneficiary of my estate because of the level of support directed toward programming and the impact these programs have in serving first responders across the state,”
Not everyone wants to commit to making a gift in their wills or estates. Some prefer the increased flexibility that a beneficiary designation provides by using:
Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) allows individuals aged 70½ or older to make a tax-free gift directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to a qualified nonprofit such as the 100 Club of Arizona.
In 2026, individuals may give up to $111,000 annually (or $222,000 per married couple) through QCDs.
Because QCDs transfer funds directly to charity, they reduce your adjusted gross income.
Starting at age 73, QCDs can count toward your RMD and help you avoid penalties.
Your entire gift goes supports Arizona’s police officers, firefighters, and their families.
