Echo Mountain Church is proud to announce three years after fire devastated their house of worship, they are finally ready to celebrate and rejoice. It was back on May 21, 2011, when the church became a victim of an arsonist and burned to the ground. After three years and hundreds of hours of tireless work, the church is back up, fully functional and the congregation is to celebrate.

On Saturday, November 1st, the church, located at 19051 N. 20th Street in Phoenix, will hold a fall festival celebration with games, food, prizes and tours of the new facility. Among the areas visitors will be able to tour are “The AARK” which is specifically themed for children and “The SHED,” which is just for church youth. The event is free for the public and runs from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening. There will also be a raffle of two iPad minis to help raise funds for the 100 Club.

The celebrations don’t stop on Saturday. On Sunday, November 2nd, the congregation will be enjoying their grand re-opening with a Hero Service. “This is just one small way we can say thank you and honor those first responders who gave us so much,” says Echo Mountain Church Pastor Dale Farwell. “They risked their lives when responding to our fire and we are forever grateful for their heroic efforts on that day back in 2011.”
