Saturday, February 25, 2012 – Bear Hunt
Enter your dog into this Bear Hunt on February 25 at Catlin Court in Historic Downtown Glendale. A $10 registration fee will benefit Officer Brad Jones’ family, and registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. with the first hunt starting at 8:30 a.m. If you don’t have a dog, come watch live search demonstrations by the Arizona Search Dogs and participate in a raffle! Saturday, February 25, 2012 – The Heroes Music Festival in honor of Deputy William Coleman
The Brix Wine Spot at Stagecoach Village in Cave Creek is hosting this music festival honoring the servicemen and women of law enforcement. Live musical performances by local artists the Cowboy Crew, AZBP, Chuck Hall, the Radials, featured artist Lance Headlee and more! Harold’s Corral will cater this event with raffles, clothes and jewelery for sale too! A minimum $5 donation will benefit the MCSO Memorial Fund in memory of fallen Deputy Bill Coleman. The Nation’s Leading Conference on Border Security will take place at the Phoenix Convention Center in March 2012. Saturday, March 17, 2012 – Battle of the Bands for Brad
Benefit fundraiser concert for the family of Glendale Police Officer Brad Jones who was killed in the line of duty on October 29, 2011. All proceeds will go to help send family members of Officer Jones to the National Police Officer Memorial in May 2012 in Washington DC where he will be honored and his name added to the memorial wall. Friday, March 30, 2012 – Arizona Homicide Investigators Association Charity Golf Tournament
The Arizona Homicide Investigators Association will host their 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, March 20 with a tee time of 1:30. This year’s proceeds will benefit pancreatic and prostate cancer research in memory of two AHIA members: Detective Gary Fuller and Detective Tim Barber. The tournament will take place at the Ocotrillo Golf Resort in Chandler with check-in beginning at 11:30. Dinner will be provided following the tournament. Saturday, April 7, 2012 – 2nd Alarm 4005 Golf Tournament
The Goodyear Firefighter’s Local 4005 is hosting their 2nd Annual Alarm 2005 Golf Tournament to benefit the United Goodyear Firefighter Charities. For $85 a golfer or $320 a foursome, registrants can sign up for this four person scramble by March 20. The Tournament will be held at the Wigwam Resort Heritage and Patriot Courses with 8:00 a.m. shotgun start and lunch afterwards provided by the Wigwam. Sunday, April 21, 2012 – Camp Colley Golf Tournament
The 7th Annual Camp Colley Golf Tournament will help raise funds to send under-privileged and deserving children to camp, including children of fallen officers and firefighters. The Golf Tournament will be held at Aguila Golf Course on 35th Avenue and Baseline with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. $400 per foursome registration includes 18 holes of golf, golfer gift bag, range balls, breakfast, lunch and awards presentation.
