The 100 Club is humbled, and very grateful for the support of Arizona Sports 620, all of their listeners and 100 Club supporters, and of course the help of our amazing volunteers, without whom this day would not have been possible!
The 5th Annual Holiday Heroes Radio-a-thon with Burns and Gambo from Arizona Sports 620 was a day filled with excitement and fun!
On Wednesday, December 14, Burns and Gambo took over the Arizona Sports 620 AM airwaves from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in support of the 100 Club and Arizona’s everyday heroes. Thousands of people tuned in to make a donation, become a Hometown Hero, buy unique and rare sports memorabilia/packages, and showed their support for the men and women behind the badge.
At the end of the day, the final Holiday Heroes Scoreboard read $262,340!!
The 2nd Annual Holiday Heroes Golf Tournament
Foursomes were teamed up with local firefighters/officers to create 5-person scrambles. Check back for pictures from the Holiday Heroes golf tournament.
Congratulations to Frank Zupancic, Jr. for winning $5,000 in gold at the 2nd Annual Golf Ball Drop by Republic Monetary Exchange
During the Holiday Heroes event, hundreds of numbered golf balls dropped from the bucket of a Ladder Firetruck onto the ASU Karsten Golf Course putting course. One lucky ball was the first in the hole, and belonged to the winner of $5,000 in gold! Watch the 2011 Golf Ball Drop here!
